Join us for an immersive week of creativity and fun at Fusion Superplex's Summer Camp! Our workshop is designed to spark imagination and foster artistic expression in young minds. Each day is packed with exciting activities that will engage and inspire your child while equipping them with valuable skills in art, storytelling, and technology. Day 1: World Building Dive into a week of creativity as your emerging artist embarks on a journey of exploration. Students will be divided into teams to learn the basics of character design and world building, culminating in a presentation to their peers. Take-home Exercise: Design an Avatar for yourself, give it a name, and choose your artist name. Day 2: Storytelling and Storyboard Development Learn the fundamentals of storytelling and bringing drawings to life through story development and storyboard creation. Take-home Exercise: Sketch your scenarios to help your peers visualize your vision. Day 3: Character Design and Caricatures Explore character design techniques using shapes, inspirations, and styles to bring stories to life. In-class Exercise: Work with a WayneHead Artist to create group's character and mascot designs. Day 4: Lines and Colors Discover how to integrate technology to bring sketches to life digitally. In-class Exercise: Finalize characters and stories using digital tools. Day 5: The 10 Slide Pitch Learn the art of selling your ideas as students pitch their stories to a panel of judges. The winning 3 stories could be featured in the BTC lounge for the weekend, with a QR Code for voting. The final winning story will also be digitalized and prepared for publishing by WayneHead Studios.
